Since its creation, the base has been hosting competitive preparation courses all year round. Many French clubs come to take advantage of the quality of the lake and the facilities. We can provide signposted corridors over 2000 meters on request.

Competition
With 13 km of downstream navigation, up to the Villerest dam and 8 km upstream, the navigation basin is free from all commercial navigation and sheltered from cross winds. The basin is equipped with 6 water lines of 2000 meters to international standards that can accommodate high level competitions of rowing but also canoeing. A first regatta was organized for the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne rowing league in May 2017 and was renewed in 2018.
